Steel Platform Grating or Steel bar Grating is made by welding with flat steel and cross/round bars with certain distances. It's also known as Welded Steel Bar Grate is extremely strong and durable for all load bearing applications and is primarily used for pedestrian and light vehicle traffic. Steel Bar Grating is available in a variety of bearing bar spacing and thicknesses depending on applications and load requirements. Available in either smooth top or serrated for slip resistance.
Our Steel Grating enjoy the feature of high strength, light structure, high bearing, convenience for loading and other properties. The hot dipped zinc coating gives the product excellent anti-corrosion.
Workability: Easy to Weld, Cut, Form and Machine
Applications: Walkways, flooring, ramps, bridge flooring, trench and drainage covers, mezzanines, platforms, stair treads, etc.
How is it Measured? Bar thickness X Bar height, Bearing bars run parallel to each other, the length of the panel.
1. Load-Bearing Flat Steel: 20mm*3mm-100mm*10mm;
2. Bearing Bar Pitch: 30mm, 40mm, 60mm or as request;
3. Cross Bar/Rod Diameter: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm or as request;
4. Cross Bar/Rod Pitch: 30mm, 38mm, 50mm, 76mm, 100mm, ect;
5. Panel size available: 1000x5800mm, 1000x6000mm or as per request;
6. Surface treatment: Untreated(Black), Hot-Dipped Galvanized, Powder Coated, Painting Or As Per Customers' Requirement;
7. Mechanical Properties: Tensile = 58,000 +/-, Yield = 42,000 +/-;
